In Switzerland, the tourist office of the Toggenburg district has unveiled an unusual and ultra-minimalist hotel room. The latter includes a simple bed in the middle of nature to sleep under the stars. Magic !

Do you have a few days vacation soon and look for the perfect hotel to enjoy nature? We have what you need … but it’s a bit extreme! Since 2016, twin brothers Frank and Patrik Riklin have imagined a strange hotel far from everything in the hills of the Appenzell region. This hotel has only one minimalist room, with no roof or wall.

You have understood the principle, to offer a most unusual night on a comfortable bed and with the comfort of a hotel except that you are in true communion with nature. A concept that has been on the cards for two years and which was relaunched in 2018, this time for the promotion of the Toggenburg constituency. Three rooms have been created and visible on this site. Attention, two are already reserved for the full 2018 and the last risk to leave very quickly.

We find this idea as fascinating as ever, and we imagine the heads of the lucky ones who have to wake up in the morning in the face of the beauty of the Swiss mountains. Oh yes, we forgot to tell you the price: it takes between 250 and 300 euros per night anyway!
